Windspot wind turbines chosen by German company to power a scalable, modular system for stand-alone island power supply.
Sonkyo Energy is committed to the German market.
German based Eva Technology GmbH & Co. has unveiled an intelligent modular Powersystem made up by an innovative and intelligent modular hybrid system to deploy in different weather conditions.
The power supply system includes one Windspot 3.5kw mounted on an adjustable mast from 4 to 10m (2m segments), a solar array of 28 PV modules with a total capacity of 4Kw all backed up with a diesel generator. The overall electricity production is 9kW with an average of 3kW.
The system is assembled on a 20ft sea container providing a flexible and hygienic way of storing a wide range of fresh, chilled or frozen goods anywhere is deployed thanks to the equipment installed: a freezer unit, a small cold room, a storage tank to warm water for personal or industrial use, climate controlled or heating.
Windspot, PV panels and generator are intelligently integrated with a controller featuring a remote management system to control the overall functioning. Satellite surveillance is also available in order to keep the temperature controlled depending on the environment.
The system is ideal for many different applications in extreme climates such as desserts, arctic and tropics. Among its advantages, it can be used on-grid and off-grid, can be shipped as a 20ft container, no need of crane for the assembly and the size and equipment can be customized to customer needs.
