The WINDSPOT is subjected to stringent quality certifications, SEPEN
The WINDSPOT underwent seven months of testing SEPEN (Site Expérimental Aeolian pour le Petit Narbonne)
This winter without problems WINDSPOT resisted the onslaught of one of the strongest wind storms in recent years. Not the result of causality. One of the main concerns of Sonkyo Energy is to ensure its strength and effectiveness before its release.
So the WINDSPOT underwent seven months of testing SEPEN (Site Expérimental Aeolian pour le Petit Narbonne), an independent center located in the Languedoc-Roussillon region of France.
This company is responsible for test wind turbines and has been tested and some of the world's leading manufacturers. The test results are posted on their website and are accessible to everyone. The main points on which the tests focus are security, reliability, productivity and noise. The 3.5 WINDSPOT underwent the test of SEPEN, and the result is you can see from their website.
In addition, Sonkyo Energy is certified to ISO 9001:2008 for the "Design and Manufacture of Small Wind Turbines", awarded by LRQA, an international certifying agency subsidiary of Lloyds Registers society.
This was achieved international recognition in the design and WINDSPOT manufacturing, the small wind mill which has an innovative step that adapts to variable wind speed.
In addition, Sonkyo is trying to make the CIEMAT (Centro de Energy, Environment and Technology, Ministry of Science and Innovation Spanish) performance WINDSPOT certify and submit to rigorous testing to certify their productivity, reliability and noise.
And Sonkyo Energy has also initiated the process for certification of WINDSPOT in the Small Wind Certification Council, a body created in 2010 for the certification of small wind turbines in the U.S. market with great potential.
